                                Then came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships
        Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Thomas Tyler party to
        the within Presents and acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed
        and the Land and Premisses within mentioned to be the Estate property
        Right and Title of the within named Nicholas Maccubbin his Heirs
        Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever according to the directions
        of the Act of Assembly in such case made and Provided and according to
        the true intent and meaning of the within instrument of writing

Duty paid    This Indenture made the Twenty first day of May seventeen
    L S         Hundred & sixty two Between William Magruder Selby of Prince Georges
J Sum Clk  County Maryland Planter of the one Part & Richard Henderson of
Ex.^d           Bladensburgh of the other Part  Witnesseth that the said William Magruder
        Selby for and in consideration of five shillings sterling to him in hand paid by
        the said Richard Henderson Hath given Granted Bargained & sold and by
        these Presents doth give Grant Bargain and Sell unto the said Richard Henderson
        his Heirs & Assigns all that part of a Tract of Land in Frederick County called
        Fatt Oxen  Beginning at the end of the fourth Line and running thence
        North ten Degrees East One hundred perches South Seventy one degrees west
        twenty four perches south seventy six Degrees West one hundred and fifty two
        perches south ten Degrees West One hundred Perches then with a streight line
        to the beginning containing Ninety Eight Acres more or less with all the
        appurtenances thereunto belonging  To have and to hold the said Land
