       Uses therein mentioned and further that he the said
       John Allen did write and subscribe his Name as a Witness to the
       same and said James Biddle the other subscribing Witness write
       and subscribe his Name to the said indenture at the same time
       In Testimony whereof I have caused the seal of the Office of
       Mayoralty of said City of Philadelphia to be hereunto affixed
       the day and Year first above written

Exam.d   This Indenture made this Thirteenth day of August
       in the Year seventeen hundred and sixty two Between Robert
       Fenwick of S.t Marys County Planter and Susannah his Wife of
       the one part and Mark Heard of the same county Planter of the
       other part  Witnesseth that the said Robert Fenwick and Susannah his
       Wife for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings sterling
       Money to him the said Robert Fenwick in hand paid by the said Mark
       Heard at or before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents ^the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents^ Doth
       grant Bargain and sell unto him the said Mark Heard his
       Executors administrators and assigns all that part of a Tract
       or parcell of Land called Thirds lying in the county aforesaid whereon
       Francis Hopewell formerly built his Houses devised in Tail by Mark
       Heard deceased to his Grand Daughter Susannah Hopewell containing
       forty acres Together with all Edifices Buildings Gardens Orchards
       Ways Waters Water Courses Commodities priviledges improvements
