358. Place of his or their above In Witness whereof the parties aforesaid to these presents have interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written Sealed and Delivered in presence of [the words (and) William Allen (s) premises) first interlined] John Allen, Jame Biddle On the foot of the aforegoing release was thus wrote I acknowledge to have received from the above named Henry Boquet the sum of Two Thousand Pounds sterling in full of the Consideration Moni.s above mentioned Test John Allen Will Allen Jame Biddle (seal) City of Philadelphia fs.t Be it remembered that on the Ninth day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty three personally appeared before me Benjamin Chew Esquire Recorded of the City of Philadelphia (the Major of the said City being absent) John Allen a Person to me well known and of good Faith and Credit who being sworn on the wholy Evangelists of Almighty God doth declare and say that on the day of the Date of the within indenture he was present and did see William Allen sign seal Execute and Deliver the same indenture and heard him the said William Allen at the same Time declare the same indenture to be his proper Act and Deed for the Uses |
