Exam.d  This Indenture made this 11.th Day of January
      Seventeen hundred and sixty two   Between Larkin Peirpoint
       of Frederick County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one
       Part and Ephraim Davis of the County and Province afd planter of the other part
       Witnesseth that he the said Larkin Peirpoint for and in consideration
       of Three Pounds ten shillings sterling Money of Great Brittain to him in
       hand paid by the said Ephraim Davis at and before the Ensealing & Delivery
       of these Presents the Receipt whereof he the said Larkin Peirpoint doth
       hereby Acknowledges himself satisfied contented and paid and thereof
       and every part thereof doth clearly acquit Exonerate and Discharge him
       the said Ephraim Davis his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns
       for ever, hath given granted bargained sold enfeoffed and confirmed
       and by these Presents doth give grant bargain sell Enfeof and
       Confirm unto him the said Ephraim Davis his Heirs & assigns
       for ever all that piece or parcell of Land called Peirpoints second
       Addition lying and being in Frederick County Beginning at
       the End of the fifth Line of a Tract of Land called         Golds Branch
       as by certificate and running then south Fifty Nine Degrees West one hundred
       & Eighty four Perches then south Fifteen Degrees East Fifty Perches then North Forty
       Eight degrees East Two hundred and forty seven perches then by a straight line
       to the beginning containing and laid out for forty two Acres of Land be the same
       more or Less Together with all Rights Issues Profits Emoluments and
       Appurtenances the same Insident and Appurtaining with all singular
       the houses Out houses Ways Easements Timber and Trees Woods and under
       Woods Cultivations Improvements and hereditraments Whatsoever to the
       same belonging To have and to hold the said granted Lands
       with all and singular the Premisses and appurtenances to the only
