158 Heirs and Assigns ^to his and their own proper Use and Behoof and to and for no other use Intent or Purpose whatsoever and the said Joseph Ensor for himself and his Heirs doth hereby covenant promise grant & agree to and with the said John Brice his Heirs and Assigns^ that he the said Joseph Ensor and his Heirs shall and will for ever Warrant and defend to the said John Brice his Heirs and Assigns the said hereby bargained and sold undivided one Eight part or portion of the said Lands of the said Mathias Vanderheyden from and against him the said Joseph Ensor and his Heirs, and all and every person or persons whatsoever claiming or which may hereafter claim by from or under him them or any of them and also from and against all and every person or persons claiming or to claim the same from by or under the said Mathias Vanderheyden In Witness whereof the said parties to these presents have interchangeably set their Hands and seals the Day and Year above written Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presence of Joseph Ensor (s) Vachel Worthington & William Cooke September 17.th 1762 Then received of John Brice the sum of seventy five pounds sterling being in full for the Consideration Money within mentioned £75 0 0 Witness William Cooke I say received by Vachel Worthington Joseph Ensor On the 17.th day of September Anno Domini seventeen hundred & sixty Two before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland personally appeared the Within named Joseph Ensor and acknowledged the within |
