159. Within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named John Brice his Heirs and Assigns according to the true intent and meaning of the same deed and the act of Assembly in such case made and provided, also at the same Time Mary Ensor Wife of the said Joseph Ensor being by me Examined a part and out of the Hearing of her said Husband released her right of Dower to the within Land and premisses and Acknowledged that she did the same Willingly and freely without being induced thereto by fears or threats of her said Husband or for fear of his Displeasure Acknowledged before Geo Stuart J Hepburn Mary Ensors acknowledgment was taken before me this Twenty fifth day of September 1762 1762 September 17.th Received of John Brice Esq.r Three shillings and nine pence three farthings sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being for the Alienation Fine on the within Lands by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordship's Agent & Receiver Generall Benj.a Beall 9 sides Recorded the 17.th day of September 1762 |
