Ex.d  This Indenture made the thirteenth Day of April
       in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and sixty
       Between Josias Sticklen of Saint Marys County Planter and
       Johannah his Wife and Mary Ridgell of the Same County Widow
       which said Johannah and Mary are the two Daughters of Thomas
       Woodward of the Same County Deceased of the one Part and John Attaway
       Clarke of the Same County Gent of the other Part Whereas a
       common recovery hath been had and Suffered this present April Provincial
       Court in the name of John Hall Demandant against John Attaway Clarke
       Tenant for one Moiety of a Tract or parcel of Land called the Outlett
       containing in the whole one hundred acres more or less One Moiety
       of a Tract or Parcel of Land called the Adjoinder containing in the
       whole fifty acres more or less  All that Tract or Parcel of Land called
       Back Branch containing fifty acres more or less  Also fifty acres
       part of a Tract of Land called called Bleak Creek Neck lying and
       being in Saint Marys County aforesaid heretofore devised by the Will of
       Thomas Woodward to his two Daughters Johannah and Mary which Lands
       and Premisses are now in the actual possession of the said John Attaway Clarke
       Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the said Josias Sticklen
       and Johannah his Wife and Mary Ridgell for and in consideration of
       the sum of one hundred pounds sterling fifty pounds whereof to each
       of the said Parties to them in hand paid at or before the ensealing and
       Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
       Have Granted Bargained Sold Remised Released and Confirmed
       and by these presents Do Grant Bargain Sell Remise Release
       and confirm unto him the said John Attaway Clarke his Heirs and
       Assigns the Several Tracts parts or Parcels of Land aforesaid The Entail
       thereof was docked as aforesaid and other the Premisses with the
       appurtenances together with all and Singular the Houses Edifices Buildings
       Improvements Profits Commodities and Advantages to the same belonging
