       contained to be the only right Property and Estate of the within named John Mercer
       Junior and his heirs and assigns according to the form force and Effect true Intent and
       Meaning of the same Deed and also that the said Milkah was by me privately
sides  examined out of the hearing of her said Husband and she declared that she made
6     her said acknowledgment willingly and freely and without being induced
       thereto by fear or threats ^of^ or Ill usage from her said Husband or for fear of his
       Displeasure Acknowledged before me this 21.st day of November 1759

Ex.d  This Indenture made the thirteenth day of December in the Year
       of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty Nine Between John
       Peirce of Prince Georges County Planter of the one part and Benjamin
       Notley Pierce son of the said John Pierce of the same County Carpenter of the
       other part  Whereas a recovery has been heretofore had in the Provincial
       Court of this Province held at Annapolis on the third Tuesday of October in the
       Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty five for the Docking
       Barring and Cutting off all Estates Tail and Remainders in Tail of and in the
       Tracts and Parcels of land herein after mentioned  And Whereas a Deed
       has been formerly Executed Declaring the the Uses of the said recovery
       duly acknowledged and recorded in the Records of the Provincial Court
       but no Alienation fine was paid thereon and it being doubted if the
       said Deed be good and Valid without it Now this Indenture
       Witnesseth that for Settling and and Assuring of the same to and for
       the Uses Intents and purposes herein after limited Expressed and
       declared and in cosideration of Five Shillings to him the said John
       Pierce in hand paid by the said Benjamin Notley Pierce and also for the
       Natural Love and Affection he beareth unto the said Benjamin Notley
       Pierce and for divers other good causes and considerations him the said John
       Pearce thereunto moving hath Covenanted Concluded and Agreed with the
       said Benjamin Notley Pierce his heirs and assigns that the said
