       presents he the said Charles Homewood doth give grant bargain and sell unto
       the said Henry Woodward his Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assigns two Negro Men or slaves
       known by the Names of Daniel and Cuffee to have and to hold the aforesaid two
       Negro Men or Slaves unto the said Henry Woodward his Executors Adm.rs or Assigns
       to the only proper use and behoof of the said Henry Woodward his Ex.rs Adm.rs or
       assigns and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever clear and free
       from all Incumbrances Provided always and it is the true intent and meaning
       of these presents that if the said Charles Homewood his Heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs do
       and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Henry Woodward
       his Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assigns the aforesaid sum of ninety five pounds one shilling
       and seven pence half penny sterling Money aforesaid with legal interest thereon
       with the Charge of Recording this Writing at or upon the twenty seventh day of
       August which shall be in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and
       sixty two then these presents to be void and of no Effect otherwise of full force
       and Virtue and it is further Covenanted and Agreed by the said Charles
       Homewood for himself his Heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs that in case the said Negroes
       or Slaves called Daniel and Cuffee or either of them should happen to die before
       the above time Limitted for payment or other casualty happen to the said
       Negroes or Slaves Daniel and Cuffee that then and in such case the said
       Charles Homewood covenants that the Lands mentioned in two Deeds of
       Mortgage made by the said Charles Homewood to the said Henry Woodward
       shall stand be and remain as a security to the said Henry Woodward his
       Heirs Exe.rs Adm.rs or Assigns for the Payment of the aforesaid ninety
       five pounds one shilling and seven pence half penny sterling money and
       interest thereon payable at the time limitted for payment in the last
