       case made and provided
       To the Clerk of the Provincial Court

x.d  Maryland fs.t  This Indenture made this fourteenth day of April Anno
       Domini one thousand seven hundred and forty eight  Between Charles Carroll of the City
       of Annapolis in Ann Arundel County & Province aforesaid Chirurgeon of the one
       part and Patrick Creagh of the City and Province aforesaid painter of the other
       part  Witnesseth that the said Charles Carroll for & in consideration of the sum of
       thirty pounds current money to him in hand paid or secured to be paid at or before
       the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he the said Charles
       Carroll doth hereby acknowledge & thereof & of every part thereof doth hereby
       acquit release exonerate & Discharge the said Patrick Cr^e^agh his Heirs Executors
       & Adm.rs & every of them by these presents he the said Charles Carroll Hath bargained
       & sold aliened and confirmed & by these presents Doth grant Bargain & sell
       Alien and Confirm unto the said Patrick Creagh his Heirs and Assigns for ever all
       that one Quarter part of a Lott N.o Ninety Six lying in the City of Annapolis
       aforesaid Formerly belong^ing^ to Evan Jones deceased Viz.t beginning in the Line of
       Prince Georges Street at the North West Corner of the part sold or leased by the
       said Charles Carroll to John Irwin of the City aforesaid labourer & runs with the
       line of the said Irvins part North East one hundred and ninety eight Feet thence
       North West with the outer line of the Whole Lott forty nine feet & a half to the said
       Patrick Creaghs Own Lott then with the said Creaghs Lott south West one hundred
       and ninety eight feet to the aforesaid street then with the same street to the
       Begining & also all profits commodities advantages emoluments & hereditaments
       Whatsoever to the said quarter part of the said Lott aforesaid Belonging or in any
       wise appurtaining & also the Reversion & Reversions & Remainders Rents &
                                                                                                          (services)
