(314) to be surrendered or delivered up to the next person who shall succeed him in the said Commissarys Office all the Papers and Record Books now being in the said Commissarys Office in good order and Repair as also all such other Papers and Record Books which shall be by him added in the like good order and Repair with the Records and Entries faithfully legally and truly made up and entered during the time he hath officiated in the said office without favour or affection but according to the Truth the nature of the Thing and the duty of his office and all other the duties of his said office legally duly and faithfully shall discharge according to law and the true intent and meaning of the Acts of Assembly in such cases made and provided that then the above obligation to be void and of none effect or else to be and remain in full force and Virtue in Law Sealed and Delivered in the J Ridout (seal) presence of J Ross (seal) R Ghiselin U Scott Andrew Buchanan On the back of the aforegoing Bond was thus Written Viz.t June the 27.th 1761 Then came Reverdy Ghiselin and Andrew Buchanan Witnesses to the within Bond and made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God before us the subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court that they saw the within obligors seal and Deliver the within Bond Before John Brice Geo Steuart You are hereby required immediately to enter the within Bond with the Indorsment thereon among the Records of the Provincial (Court) |
