                               This Indenture made this thirteenth day
       of May in the Year of our Lord Christ One thousand Seven hundred and
       Sixty one  Between Richard Tilghman Earle of Queen Anns County
       in the Province afd Gentleman of the one Part and Henry Ward Pearce
       of Cecil County in the same Province Gentleman and Annastatia his Wife
       of the other Part  Witnesseth that the said Richard Tilghman Earle
       for and in consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling to him in
       Hand paid at and before the Sealing and delivery of these Presents the
       receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge an thereof and therefrom and of
       and from every part and parcel thereof doth hereby release acquit exonerate
       and discharge them the Said Henry Ward Pearce and Annastatia his
       Wife their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them
       hath given granted bargained Sold Aliened released enfeoffed and
       confirmed and by these Presents Doth give grant bargain sell alien
       release enfeoff and confirm unto them the said Henry Ward Pearce and
       Annastatia his Wife all that part of a Tract of Land laying and being
       formerly in Prince Georges County but now in Frederick County called
       the Five Daughters (the whole containing according to the Patent
       fifteen hundred acres) which is included by and contained within the
       following lines to wit  Beginning at the Original bounded Trees
       of a Tract of Land called Pork Hall of which the said Tract called the
       five Daughters is a part and running from thence North Sixty three
       Degrees West thirty Perches then North ten Degrees East fifty Six
       perches then North fifty five Degrees East twenty four Perches then
       North Eighteen Degrees East one hundred and ten Perches then South
       Eighty eight Degrees East two hundred and forty perches then south
       twenty eight Degrees West three hundred and eighty three Perches then
       north fifty five Degrees and one half of a Degree West three hundred and
       Eighteen Perches then with the given Line of the afd Original Tract to the
       Beginning containing and now laid out for four hundred and thirty six
