(249) all the aforesaid Parcel of Land and Premisses unto him the said John Gilliss his Heirs and Assigns for ever against all Persons Claiming or Pretending to Claim any Right Title or Interest thereunto from by or under him the said Edward Dorsey his Heirs Executors or Adm.rs or by their Means or Precurement shall and will Warrant and forever Defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the said Edward Dorsey hath hereunto Set his hand and Seal the Day and Year above written Signd Seald and Delivered Edw.d Dorsey son Ed (Seal) In Presence of Us Henry Howard Ep Howard On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus written Viz.t Received the 28.d day of March 1761 of John Gills Forty Pounds Sterling being the consideration of for the within Bargaind Land and Premisses I say received by me Ep howard Edw.d Dorsey son Ed Ann Arundel County fs.t Memorandum that on the 23.d Day of March 1761 Came Edward Dorsey party to the within Deed and acknowledged the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right TItle and Estate of him the said John Gilliss within named his Heirs and Assigns for ever and at the same Time Came Deborah Dorsey Wife to the within Edward Dorsey and being privately examined out of the Hearing of her said Husband acknowledged her Right of Dower to the within aforesaid Land and Premisses to be the Right Title and Estate of him the within Mentioned John Gilliss his Heirs and Assigns for ever before Us two of his Lordships Justices for the said County Henry Howard Ep howard 25 March 1761 Received the sum of five pence sterling being the Alienation sides for the within Land for the Use of the Lord Baltimore Recorded 25 March 1761 Edw.d Lloyd |
