       unto the Said Charles Homewood Esq.r his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that part of
       a Tract or Parcel of Land called Leonards Neck lying in Ann Arundel County
       aforesaid on the North Side of Severn River containing One hundred and Ninety
       Acres of Land more or less originally granted unto a certain Henry Woolchurch
       under the Great Seal of this Province under old Rent together with all Tenements
       Hereditaments and appurtenances and all and every the Structures Edifices
       Improvements Advantages and Emoluments thereon or thereto belonging or in
       any wise appurtaining And this Indenture Lastly Witnesseth that the said
       Charles Todd doth by these presents Nominate Constitute Ordain appoint
       Commissionate Authorize Ratify and Confirm to all Intents Limitations
       Constructions and Purposes whatsoever the said Charles Homewood Esq.r his
       true Lawfull and irrevocable Attorney to the Sole Use and Behoof of the
       said Charles Homewood Esq.r his Heirs and Assigns for ever to take up and
       fully pay and Discharge the aforerecited Mortgage to the said John Brice
       Esq.r or his Assigns and on Such Payment to Compel him or them in such
       Sort Manner and form in Law or Equity as is expressly provided by the
       Statutes of England Granted by Royal Prerogative and the Laws of this
       Province to give a Sufficient release of the said afore recited Lands and
       Premisses with all Hereditaments as also all right and Title thereto To
       and only for the proper Use and Behoof of the said Charles Homewood
       Esq.r his Heirs and Assigns the said Lands and Premisses unto the said Charles
       Homewood Esq.r his Heirs and Assigns for ever will well and truly warrant
       and Defend by these Presents  In Witness whereof the said Charles Todd
       hath hereunto Affixed his Hand and Seal the Day and Year of our
       Blessed Lord and Saviour first above written
