       fully and at Large appear in which said before recited Deed duly acknowledged
       and Recorded in due form of Law in the Secretarys Office of this Province the said
       Charles odd did constitute ordain appoint Ratify and Confirm the said Charles
       Homewood Esq.r his true Lawful and irrevocable Attorney in his Name as
       fully and as absolutely pursuant to the Statutes of England Granted by Royal
       Perogative and the Laws of this Province expressly provided as if he the said
       Use and behoof of the Said Charles Homewood Esq.r his Heirs and Assigns for
       ever and to no other Use limmitation or Construction whatever to take up
       Pay and fully discharge a certain Land Mortgage and all Interests Costs
       Charges and Demands thereon heretofore made by the said Charles Todd to the
       said John Brice Esq.r which said Mortgage amounted to this Date with all
       Interest Claims and Demands thereon to the Date of these Presents to the
       Sum of One hundred and thirty eight pounds fifteen Shillings and three
       Pence Maryland Currency or thereabouts more or less out of which aforesaid
       Sum the said John Brice Esq.r doth expressly acknowledge to have received
       and placed to the Said Charles Todds due Credit from M.r Benjamin Selby
       in Virtue of the said Todds Assignment and of the proper cash of the
       said Charles Todd the sum of Fifteen pounds Current Money of Maryland
       so that the whole neat Ballance remaining is one hundred and
       twenty three pounds currency or thereabouts which afore recited sums
       amounts to the Just Sum with the Legal Interest thereon on thirty
       Pounds part thereof afore expressed to one hundred and Ninety Nine
       Pounds five Shillings and three pence Current Money of Maryland
       for and in consideration of which aforesaid Sum of Money as also for
       divers weighty and Valluable Considerations him the said Charles Todd
       thereunto especially moving for which he doth confess himself to be
       full and absolutely Satisfied Contented and paid  Hath and Doth
       by these presents Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff
       Ratify and Confirm and doth fully Clearly and Absolutely by these
       Presents give grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm
