             On the Back of the aforegoing Release was thus written Viz.t

       Received the 17.th day of October in the Year of our Lord 1760 of Charles Homewood
       Esquire Eighty One pounds Sixteen Shillings Current Money together with the Legal
       Interest thereon to the Date hereof and the Charge of Recording the afore recited
       Deed of Mortgage of the said Homewood to me it being the consideration afore
       specified
       Witness then present                                                      Hy Woodward
       Reb.a Young
       Mary Woodward

       On the 25th of October in the Year of our Lord 1760 Then came Henry
       Woodward Esq.r and acknowledged the within Deed to be his proper Act and
       Deed to and for the use of Charles Homewood Esq.r his Heirs and Assigns for
       Ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and
       the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and Provided      Acknowledged
7 sides  before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland
       Recorded 27th Octo.r 1760                                 Jn.o Brice
       one shilling duty paid


xd  This Indenture made the fourth day of October in the Year of our Lord
       God Seventeen hundred and Sixty Between Charles Todd of Ann Arundel County
       in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one Part and Charles Homewood
       Esq.r of the County and Province aforesaid of the other Part Now this Indenture
       expressly Witnesseth That the said Charles Todd for and in consideration
       of the full Moiety or Sum of Forty five Pounds Current Money of Maryland  
       to him in Hand paid by the said Charles Homewood Esq.r the Receipt
       whereof he the said Charles Todd doth hereby acknowledge and also for
       and in consideration of the Sum of Thirty Pounds Current Money of
       Maryland heretofore advanced for him by the said Charles Homewood Esq.r as
       p the said Charles Todds Mortgage and Deed of Bargain and Sale refferance
       being thereunto had together with the Legal Interest thereon from the Date
       thereof to this above specified Date refferance being thereunto had may more
