87) ON the back of the aforegoing Instrument was thus Endorst Viz.t Sealed and delivered in the Presence of Joh Beale John Talbott Jn.o Worthington Mem.d On this day to wit the 9.th day of May 1720 Came before Me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the prov.ll Court of Maryland the within named Sarah Brice who acknowledges the within Instrument to be her Act and Deed and the Land and premises within Mentioned to be the right of the within naimed John Worthington his heires and assignes for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in that case made and provided Taken and acknowledged before me y.e day and year above Sam.ll Young Mem.d The within Tract of Land was Granted to Nathaniell Stinchicomb and by him mortgaged to Mess.r Benj.a Hatley George Nelthrop and John Brice which said Hatley and Nelthrop released and conveyed their right to the said Land to the said John Brice and the said John Brice byd this will gave his right to the said Land by vertue of the said Mortgage to his wife Sarah Brice partie to this deed which said Sarah Brice after the decease of the said John Brice foreclosed the said mortgage by the regular preceedings required by Law in the Chancery Court whereby the said Sarah brice became invested in the said Land in an Estate in Fee simple refferrence being had to the af.d pattent and the severall Deeds will and proceedings |
