88) Chancery may more fully and at Large Appeare Recorded June the 24.th 1720 x.d This Indenture made this thirteenth day of November Annoq Dom One Thousand Seven Hundred and Nineteen Between John Davison of the City of Annapolis in Ann Arundell County Chyrurgeon of the one part and Anthony Ruley of the same county planter of the other part Wittnesseth that the said John Davison for and in consideration of the sume of sixty five pounds sterling Money of Great Brittaine by the said Anthony Ruley to him the said John Davison in hand paid at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he the said John Davison doth hereby acknowledge and by these presents Absolutely acquit and discharge the said Anthony Ruley his Executors and Adm.rs from the said sume and from every part and parcell thereof Hath given granted bargained and sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and doth by these presents give grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Anthony Ruley his heires and assignes for ever all that tract or parcel of Land called maiden Head scituate Lyeing and being on the easterne side of Chesepeak Bay in a River called Elk River Beginning at a marked maple standing by the side of a March near the mouth of a small Branch and running Cross ^up^ the same up Captain Johns Creek for breadth sixty perches to a marked white oak on a point by the creek side then south east five hundred thirty three perches into the woods for length then (from) |
