523 unto him y.e said Charles Carroll his heirs and assignes forever and lastly the s.d Hugh Riley Doth covenant promise grant and agree to and with y.e said Charles Carroll That y.e Lands aforesaid and and every of them are clear of all former and ancient or surveys and all incumberance whatsoever Provided promise Nevertheless it is the true intent of the above Deed and of every clause and article therein contained that in case y.e s.d Hugh Riley his Heirs Ex.rs or assignes shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the above said Charles Carroll his heirs or assignes the just and full sume of sixty nine pounds fourteen shillings and five pence sterling with legall interest for the same at or upon the first day of October next ensueing the date hereof then this Deed and every clause and article therein to be void and of none effect otherwise to remain in full force and virtue in Law In Testimony whereof the Partys to these Presents ineerchangably sett their hand and affixt their seals the day and Yeare aforesaid Before Executed these words interlined (his heirs or assignes such as his Signed Sealed and Delivered in Presents of And Tillman Thomas Clark Hugh Riley (Seal) |
