       that the said Thomas Lingan for and in consideration of the
       sum of sixty seaven pounds two shillings and eleven pence
       sterling to him the said Thomas in hand paid the
       receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath Given
       Granted bargained sold aliened confirmed and made over as
       by these presences he the said Thomas Lingan Doth for
       him and his heirs ^ex.rs^ and administrators Give Grant
       bargain sell alien confirme and make over unto the
       said Charles Carroll his heirs and assignes for ever
       all that tract or parcel of Land called Batchellors
       Quarter as the same was Resurveyed and as Exprest  
       in a Deed made by the said Thomas on or about the
       eleventh day of July last past to the said Charles
       Carroll To have and To hold the Land and
       Primsses aforesaid unto him the Charles Carroll
       his heirs and assignes for ever Together with all and
       singular the improvements conveientcys and advantages
       thereon or any ways thereunto appertaining or belonging
       unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs and assigns
       for ever And the said Thomas Lingan Doth for him
       and him and his heirs ex.rs and administrator covenant
       Promises Grant and agree to and with the said
       Charles Carroll his heirs and assignes the Lands
       and Primisses aforesaid of and from all manner of
       Persons and Claimes whatsoever for ever hearafter
