                   Vide Deed from W.m Spinke to W.m Maria Farthing |435

       July the 1.st 1723
                                     Then Came Marg.t Spinke the wife of William
       Spinke who being privately examined out of the hearing of her
       Husband W.m Spinke acknowledged the within instrument and
       that she Did the Same without the compulsion of her husband
       or fear of his Displeasure before us

       This Indenture made this Seventeenth Day of Aprill in the
       Year of our Lord God One Thousand Seven hundred and twenty three
       Between William Maria Farthing of S.t Marys County in the province
       of Maryland Innholder of the one part and John Bradford
       of Prince Georges County in the Province abovesaid Gent of the
       other part Wittnesseth That Whereas formerly a certain Joseph
       Edloe assigned to his son Edward Edloe a certain warrant which
       he had taken out for three hundred Acres of Land which was
       located as is hereafter expressed (Viz.t) Lying Scituate and being
       in Prince Georges County then called Charles County Beginning at
       a Bounded white oak by the River it being the first Bounded
       Tree of Capt.n Brightwells land called Brightwells hunting Quarters
       and Running thence east north east Two hundred perches
       then North North West Two hundred and Forty perches Then West
       South West Two hundred perches to Potomack River so with a Streight
       Line to the first Tree containing and then laid out for three hundred
       acres to be held of the Mannor of Lachiah and called Edloes Adventure
       as by the certificate thereof Recorded in his Lordships land
       office for this Province In Lib.o C N.o 3 fol 597 and the patent
       thereon grounded and the said Edward Edloe granted may appear
       which said Tract of Land after the Death of the said Edward Edloe intestate
       and without any heirs of his body became the Right of a certain
       John Noble the Son of the eldest sister of the said Edward as heir at
       law to the said Edward which said John Noble afterwards Dying Intestate
       and without heirs of his body the said Land became the Right of a certain
