       estate And that he will warrant and defend the Same unto him the
       said Vachel Denton his heirs ex.rs adm.rs or assigns against All
       Manner of pson or psons whatsoever Provided Always and it is
       the true intent and meaning of these presents that in case the s.d
       John Baker his Heirs ex.rs or adm.rs shall well and truly pay or
       cause to be paid unto the said Vachel Denton his heirs ex.rs or
       adm.rs the full and just sum of twelve thousand seven hundred and
       seventy three pounds of Tobacco ^convenient^ in S.t Marys County with Cask to contain
       the Same and three pounds twelve shillings Curr.t Money of Maryland
       on or before the Tenth day of March next ensueing the date
       hereof without fraud or further delay that then this Deed &
       every clause and matter therein contained shall Cease Determine &
       be Null and Void otherwise to be and remain in full force and Valid
       in Law to all intents and purposes whatsoever In Wittness
       whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seale the Day
       and Year first above written

       money w.thin Menconed                    3 12 Curr  to be his Act and Deed
