405 This Indenture made the Twenty first Day of July in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred & and twenty two by and Between Alexander Herbert of Prince Georges County Gentleman and Mary his Wife Heretofore Widow and Relict of Giles Blizard late of Charles County Deceased of the one part and Mary Frazer of Prince Georges County of the other part Wittnesseth that whereas the said Giles Blizard at the time of his Death was Seized in his Demeasne as of Fee Off and in Divers Tracts and parcells of Land in Maryland and particularly of One Tract of Land called Athelborough lying in Baltemore County containing Six hundred Acres And whereas the said Charles Blizard by his last Will and Testament in writing And by him Signed and Sealed and Declared in the presence of five Sufficient Wittnesses the Sixth Day of December in the Year of Our Lord 1687 And Duly proved the third Day of February following before the Hon.ble Coll Henry Darnall and Clement Hill after Severall Other Devises by his said ^will^ Did in the last place Give and bequeath all the Rest of his Estate both reall and psonall Estate to his beloved wife Mary Blizard the Abovementioned Tract of Land called Athelborough being part of said Remaining Reall Estate by which bequeath or Devise the said Mary (who since intermarryed w.th the abovesaid Alexander Herbert) came to be possessed in Fee Simple of the abovesaid Tract of Land Now this Indenture Further Witnesseth that as well for and in consideration of the Great Love and Affection they the said Alexander Herbert and Mary his wife Doth bear unto their Grandaughter the afores.d Mary Frazer and the Desire they have to advance her Fortune in the world As also for and in |
