404 x.d Be it Known unto all men whome these presents shall or may concern that Whereas I Rich.d Smith of the Province of Maryland Mariner have heretofore on or about the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & eleven sold & made over unto M.r John Hyde of the City of London Merch.t two Tracts of Land one called Smiths fort the other called Smiths forrest lying on the Easterly syde of Bay of Chesepeak as in and by the said Deeds recorded in the provinciall office may appear Now Know ye that I the said Rich.d Do for me & my heirs Remise release and for ever quit claim of in and to the said Lands and to the Equitty of Redemption of them or any part of them in consideration of five shill in hand paid Alsoe for Divers Valuable consideration to me in hand paid heretofore by the said Jn.o the Receipt whereof I Doe hereby Acknowledge Wittness my hand & seale this 1.st Day of Aug.t 1721 Sealed and Delivered R.d Smith (sea) in the presence Henry Darnall Recorded in October y.e 9.th 1722 Cha Carroll Jam.s Carroll |
