       Hand paid by the said William Beckett the Recipt whereof
       he doth hereby confess and acknowledge he the said
       Richard Tootell hath granted bargained and sold and by
       these presents doth grant bargan and sell unto the said
       William Beckett all that Lott within the addition to y.e
       city and port of Annapolis N.o E lying on the North
       East side of King Georges street begining at a Locust post
       then south East one hundred of Darby Calahans lott standing
       in the line of King Georges Street and running North East one
       hundred fifty six foott ^nine inches^ to a locust post then south East one
       hundred thirty two foot to a locust post thence south west one
       hundred and fifty six foot nine inches to a locust post in the
       cutt of the line of the aforesaid street to the begining containing
       twenty thousand six hundred nintey one square feet more or less
       together with all the Edifices and appurtanances thereunto
       belonging and also the reversion and reversions remainder and
       remainders there rents & services of the said premisses and of
       every part and parcell thereof with the appurtanances To
       Have and to Hold the said Lott Edifices and premisses &
       every part and parcell thereof with the appurtanances unto
       the said William Beckett his Exec.rs admin.rs and assigns for &
       Dureing the term of one thousand years next and immediatley
       ensuing and following fully to be compleat and ended yeilding
       and paying therefore yearly during the said term if demanded
       one pepper corn in and upon the feast of S.tt Michael the
       Archangle only provided allways and upon conditions that if
       the said Richard Tootell his heirs or assigns do and shall
       well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said William
       Beckett his Exec.rs Admi.rs or assigns the dull sum of one pou.d
       four shillings lawfull money of Maryland in and upon the
       tenth Day of Novemb.r next coming and also the further
       full sum of fourty pounds of the Like money in and upon the
       tenth day of March next coming without any Deduction
       or abeatment for taxes assesments or any other impositions
                                                                   whatsoever
