x.d         This Indenture Made this fourteen day of March in y.e
       year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred & twenty
       Between Phillip Jones of annarundell county in the province of
       Maryland of y.e one part and Will.m Bowles of Baltemore County
       of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Phillip Jones
       for and in consideration of the sum of fourty pounds steri.ll
       money to him in hand paid by the sd Willi.m Bowles paid the
       Phillip Jones the reci.tt whereof the said Phillip Jones Doth
       Hereby acknowledge and of & from the said sum and every partt
       thereof doth hereby fully clearley absolutley acquitt Exonarate &
       Discharge the said Will.m Bowles his heirs execu.rs and adm.rs
       firmley by these presents Hath given granted bargained sold alined
       Enfeoft Released and Confirmed and by these presents Doth for himself
       and his heirs give grant Bargain sell alien Enfeof release and
       Confirm unto the said Willi.m Bowles his heirs and assignes forever
       all that tract ^or parcell^ of land called or known by the name of Jones
       Adventure lying in Baltemore County on the north side of
       patapsco River up the maine falls of the s.d River Beginning
       att three Bounded white oakes standing Triangular att the
       head of a valley the sd valley leading into a run called Dolphins run
       Defending into the ^above^ sd falls below the pines and running from the
       said trees south seventy Eight Degrees west one hundred fifty six
       perches then south one hundred perches then south sixty seven & a halfe
       Degrees Eastt sixty perches then north fourty Degrees Eastt fifty perchs
       then north eleven Degrees Eastt Eighty perches then Eastt seventy
       two perch.s then north fifty six Degrees East fiftey two perches
       then north twenty Degrees Eastt one hund.d and sixty perch.s then
       north seventy Degrees westt two hund.d and       perche.s then with
       a straightt line to the beginning Trees containing and laid out for
       two hundred acres of land more or less with all and singular its
       Appertnnances thereunto belonging To have and to hold the
       af.d parcill or tract of land with itts appurtnnances unto him the
       said Will.m Bowles and his heirs and assignes forever to the only
       proper usse and behoof of him the said William his heirs and
       assignes for ever and to none other usse intent or purpose
