       Know all men by these presents that I John
       Pollard of Dorchester County doth for the good will
       and Effections that I bare unto my well beloved
       Frend Charles King I do hereby give unto the s.d
       Charles King all my Right Title & Interest to
       a certain Tract of Land called Deptford formerly
       Taken up by my Grandfather John Pollard and
       when Taken up it was in Calvert County joyning
       to George Beck with Manner and now in S.t Maries
       County wherefore I John Pollard do further
       give the said Land to the s.d Charles his heirs for
       ever as Wittness my hand and seale this twenty
       fifth day of March one thousand seven hundred
