(8) name of the Chaunt Beginning upon a plaine at a marked Hiccory tree between the head of Fary Creeke and Morgan Creeke and running north & by west one hundred and sixty per for bredth and from the End of the north & by west Line w.th a Line drawn west & by south two hundred perches and from the end of the west and by south Line with a Line drawn south & by east one hund.d and sixty perches and from the end of the south and by east Line w.th a Line drawn east and by north two hundred perches to the first bounded Hiccory containing & Laid out for two hundred acres more or Less To hold the same to the said James Boullay and Nicholas Painter their heires and assignes for ever as in and by the said last recited pattent relacon being thereto had may more at Large appeare And Whereas the same James Boullay survived the said Nicholas Painter whereby the whole Right and title of in and unto the said Last three recited Tracts of Land became solely vested & setled in the said James Boullay and his heires and assignes And Whereas the same James Boullay by his Last will and Testament in writeing bearing date the third day of January in the yeare of our Lord sixteen hundred eighty foure did give and bequeath unto Eliz.a his then wife and her heires and assignes for ever the before recited three Tracts of Land lying in Kent County afd and after the decease of the said Eliz.a the same descended and came to the said Thomas Billingsley party to these presents as only brother and heire at Law to the same Eliz.a Boullay Now this Indenture Wittnesseth that the said Thomas Billingsley party to these presents as well for and in consideracon of the sume of two hundred sixty seven pounds sterling money to him in hand paid by the said George Parker at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he y.e said Thomas Billingsley doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part thereof doth acquitt and discharge the said George Parker his heires Ex.rs and ad.rs and every of them by these presents and for divers other good Causes and Consideracons him the said Thomas Billingsley pty to these presents thereunto moveing hath Granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargaine sell allien enfeoff release and confirme unto the said George Parker All that the before recited one hundred and fifty acres of Land called Janmett lying in Calvert County afd and also all those recited three tracts of Land lying in Kent County afd Called by the severall names of the Dineing Roome Vianero and the Chaunt and also two negroe men slaves called by the name of Jack and Tom and one negro boy slave called York six silver spoones one silver Cupp one Large Looking glass three feather beds and furniture w.th Curtaines and Vallians two flock beds with furniture of Ruggs and blanketts three Gunns one close stool one paire of stillards one land mill togeather w.th all the pewter brass iron wooden ware sider cask sawes axes hammers croes augurs and all other working tooles and implements whatsoever and all Horses Mares Colts and Filleys all Cowes Calves heffers steeres bulls and all sheep and hoggs both young and old of what nature or kind soever to the said Thomas Billingsley belonging or appertaining togeather w.th the increase of all such Cattle Horses Mares Hoggs and sheep alsoe one boate w.th her sales ores and all her riging apparell & furniture and generall all & (every) |
