so in       Two hundred Acres More of Land Calle Cheap side likewise
originall   laid out for the said Thomas the father together with Two
       Cows and Calves Markt with the proper Marke of the said
       Thomas To Have and To Hold the said Two Tracts of Land
       together with the Cows and Calves aforesaid unto him the said Charles
       Carroll his heires executors and adm.rs To the only proper use and
       behoofe of him the said Charles Carroll his heires execut.rs adm.rs
       and assignes for ever And to Noe other intent Meaning or purpose
       whatsoever And the said Thomas Preston for him and his heires Doth
       Covenant Promise Grant and Agree to and with the said Charles
       that he the said Thomas shall and will for ever warrant and Defend
       the said Two Tracts of Land together with the Two Cows and Calves
       as aforesaid unto him the said Charles his heires executors adm.rs
       and assignes for ever provided allwayes and it is the True
       intent and Meaning of these presents that if the said Thomas
       Preston shall pay or Cause to be paid unto the above Named
       Charles Carroll by good and sufficient bills of Exch.a Drawn
       upon some Responsible Merchant in England which shall be
       Duely Accepted and paid the one Moyety or halfe parte of the
       abovesaid sume with legall Interest for the same at or before
       the tenth Day of March next Ensueing the Date hereof and the
       other Moyety or halfe parte thereof by good bills of Exch.a as afd
       with like Interest for the same at or before the tenth Day of
       March which shall be in the year of our Lord God one thousand  
       seaven hundred and Twelve that then this Deed and all the Clauses
       and Covenants therein Contained are to be utterly Void and Noe
       effect otherwise to stand in full force and virtue In Wittness
       Whereof the said Thomas hath hereunto sett his hand and seale the
       Day and year first above Written

                               On the back of the foregoeing Deed was thus
       endorst viz.t
    signed sealed and Delivered In the presence of us
          James Carroll Nich.o Jacob

               To M.r Wornell Hunt or any other of the attorneys
          of Ann Arund.ll County Court

               These are to authorise you or any of you to acknowledge
       the within Deed for me and in my Name and for your soe
       Doeing This shall be your Warrant Given under my
