       Came before me Philemon Lloyd Esq.r one of her Maj.ties Justices
       of the prov.ll Court Wornell Hunt Esq.r and by virtue of the power
       and authority Given him by the within Named Thomas Preston
       as appear and acknowleged the within Menconed land and premises
       to be the right of the within Named Charles Carroll as within
       Menconed according to Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided

          unto all people That on the Third Day of the Month of Jan.ry
       Anno Dm 1709 And in the eight year of the Reigne of our Sovereigne
       Lady Anne by the Grace of God Queen of Great Brittain &c
       Before me William Kempster Notary and Tabellion Publick
       by Authority of our said Sovereigne Lady the Queen admitted and
       sworne Dwelling in the City of London and In the presence of
       the wittnesses after Named Personally appeared Mess.rs Richard
       Lee Thomas Corbin and Jasper Cullum of the City of London afd
       Merchants which appeares have and each and every of them hath made
       Ordained Authorized and appointed and by these presents Doe and each
       and every of them Doth Make ordaine Authorize and appoint
       Nathaniell Wright and Phillip Lee of the provinces of Maryland
       Gentlemen to be their and every of their True and Lawfull attorney
       and attorneys Giveing and by these presents Granting unto their said
       attorneys Joyntly and severally full power authority and speciall
       Comission for in the Name or Names of the said appearers and to their
       use To Aske Demand sue for Levy Recover and Receive all and singular
       such Debts Dues Duties sume and sumes goods Wares Merchandizes
       effects and things whatsoever as now is or are and hereafter shall
       be found and appeare to be Due payable owing or of Right
