61) acknowledge and thereof and of every parte and parcell thereof Doth fully Clearly and absolutely acquitt Exonerate and Discharge the said Charles Hath Given Granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents he Doth Give Grant bargaine sell alien enfeoffe and confirme unto him the said Charles Carroll his heires and assignes for ever all that Tract or parcell of Land Called Thompsons Lott Lying upon the head of Gunpowder River in Baltemore County and upon the south side of the south branch of the said River Beginning at a bounded Red Oake standing near the said branch being a bounded Tree of the Land Called the adventures Addition and Running thence parallell with the said Land south east four hundred and eighty perches then runing West by south four Degrees southerly four hundred fifty and six perches then running by a Direct Line to the first bound tree Containing and laid out for six hundred Acres of Land More or less to be held of Baltemore Mannor To Have and To Hold the said Tract of Land with all the houses out houses Tobacco houses edifices buildings barnes stables Gardens Orchards Wayes Waters Woods underwoods profitts Comodities privillidges and all other appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaineing unto him the said Charles Carroll his heires and assignes for ever to the only proper use and behoofe of him the said Charles Carroll his heires and assignes for ever and to Noe other intent Meaning or purpose whatsoever And the said William for him and his heires Doth Covenant promise Grant and Agree to and with the said Charles and his heires that he the said William shall and Will from time to time and at all times for ever hereafter Warrant and Defend the said Tract of Land premisses from all former and other Guifts Grants Bargaines Sales Leases titles Charges and all other Incumbrances whatsoever unto him the said Charles Carroll his heires and assignes for ever provided And it is the True intent and Meaning of these presents that of the said W.m Taylard his heires ex.rs or adm.rs shall or with at or upon the first Day of June which shall be in the year of our Lord seaventeen hundred and Twelve pay or Cause to be paid unto the abovesaid Charles Carroll his executors adm.rs or assignes the one Moyety or halfe parte of the abovesaid sume of with legall Interest for the same and the other Moyety or halfe parte thereof (with) |
