       He the said George Sleciom and his heires ex.rs and adm.rs shall and
       Will for ever Warrant and Defend the afd Tract of Land with the premises
       and appurtenances as alsoe the said Twenty five head of Cattle
       and old sloop her Tackle and apparell unto the said John Brice
       his heires ex.rs adm.rs or assignes for ever against all persons whatsoever
       Provided alwayes that if the above named George Sleciom his
       heires ex.rs and adm.rs Doe well and Truely pay or Cause to be paid
       unto the said John Brice his heires ex.rs or adm.rs the full sume of
       Twenty pounds ster Money at the City of Annapolis in Maryland or at
       the Dwelling house of the said Brice with Lawfull interest for the
       same one or before the Twentieth Day of July next Comeing as
       alsoe all Law Charges on a Certaine suite now Comenced ag.t the
       said George Then the afd Deed to be of none effect and the Land
       and premisses Twenty five head of Cattle and old sloop to Remaine and
       be unto the said George Sleciom and his assignes and the Deed void
       to all Intents and purposes whatsoever In wittness the parties have
       hereunto sett their hands and seales this Day and year above Written

       Sealed and Delivered in presents of us
Isaac Tripper Tho.s Holmes

                      Mem.d the 18.th Day of July 1711 Came George
       Sleciom party to this Deed and Did acknowledge the same and
       the Land and premisses therein Contained to be the Estate and Right
       of the within named Jn.o Brice According to Act of Assembly
       before me                           Philemon Lloyd Just provin

                            the year of our Lord God one thousand seaven
so in y.e originall   hundred and eleve   Between William Taylard
              of Anne Arundle County Gent of the one parte and Charles
       Carroll of the said County Esq.r of the other parte Wittnesseth
       that the said William Taylard for and in Consideration of the Quantity
       of Ten thousand pounds of good sound merchantable leafe tobaccoe
       to him in hand paid before the Ensealing and Delivery of these
       presents by the said Charles the receipt whereof he Doth hereby
