59) every parte and parcell thereof Doe hereby Acquitt and Discharge the said Brice his heires ex.rs and adm.rs and every of them Have bargind sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents Doe Bargaine sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirme unto him the said John Brice his heires and assignes all that Dividend Tract or parcell of Land Cald and Known by the Name of Timber Swamp scituate Lying and being in Black Water River on both sides of a Creeke Cald Raccoone Creek in Dorchester County aforesaid which said Tract was held by one Robert Domes into the afd George Sleccom for one hundred Acres of Land as by his Deed bearing Date the thirteenth Jan.ry one thousand seven hundred and nine under the hand and seale of the said Robert Domes make the aforesaid executed and acknowledged the fifteenth March in the said year one thousand seaven hundred and Nine in Court and Recorded in Lib HH folio one hundred forty eight under the hand of Hugh Eccleston then Clarke of said County Reference thereunto being had more Large appeares together with all Rights Titles Plantacon Improvement buildings Members previledges and appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging or appertaineing or in any Wide Reputed or Taken to be any parte or parcell thereof as alsoe all interest or Claime whatsoever as alsoe Twenty five head of Cattle my old sloop now on those aboute the burthen of Twenty hh.dds of tobacco with all her Tackle and apparrell To Have and To Hold the afd Tract of Land Called Timber Swamp Containeing one hundred Acres of Land the aforesaid Twenty five head of Cattle and sloop with her Tackle and apparell unto the said John Brice his heires and assignes for ever To the only proper use and behoofe of him the said John Brice his heires and assignes for ever and unto no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever and the said George Sleccom for himselfe his heires ex.rs and adm.rs Doth further Covenant promise Grant and Agree to and with the said John Brice his heires and assignes that the said one hundred Acres of Land with the appurtenances hereby Granted or Demised are free of and from all and all Manner of former Incombrances whatsoever (save only the Quit Rents hereafter to be Due to the Right hon.ble the Lord propriator) and that (he) |
