57) signed sealed and Delivered In the presence of us Charles Carroll Mich.l Jacob July 18.th 1711 Then Came before me Thomas Smith Esq.r one of her Maj.ties Justices of the prov.ll Court Philemon Lloyd and acknowledged the within Deed to the use of Mess.rs Micaj.h and Richard Perry Merchants in London according to Act of Assembly of this province Tho Smyth Recorded the 24.th of July 1711 x.d This Indenture Made the second Day of Aug.t 1710 Between John Cole of Baltemore County planter on the one partie and Joshua Cisell of Prince Georges County gent on the other partie Wittnesseth that the said John Cole for and in Consideration of Twelve thousand pounds of tobacco to me in hand paid by the said John Cisell before the sealeing hereof the recipt whereof I doe hereby acknowledge Have Given Granted bargained sold assigned and made over and by these presents Doe Give Grant bargaine and sell assigne and make over unto the said Joshua his heires and assignes for ever all that tract or parcell of Land Lying in Baltemore County afd Called Coles Coves on the North side of Patapsco River in the woods Begining at a bounded white oake of a parcell of Land Called Foolish Fancey standing by a run called beare runn and moving thence north and by east one hundred and four perches to a bounded hickery and White oake then east three and Twenty perches to a bounded Chesnutt on the side of a hill then North North west two hundred eighty and eight perches to a bounded Red Oake then North west and by North Two hundred and thirty perches to a bounded spanish oake then west south west three hundred and Twenty perches to a bounded white oake in a pocoson then to the first tree containing now laid out for Nine hundred seaventy and Two Acres of Land more or less together with all Rights title Interest Claime and Demand of him the said John Cole or any other person whatsoever to all and singular the premisses To Have and To Hold the same to the said Joshua Cisell his heires and assignes forever against him the said John Cole his heires and all Claiming under him or them or any other person whatsoever and the said John Doth hereby for his heires Covenant promise and agree to and (with) |
