x.d  This Indenture made this thirteenth day of August in the
       Third year of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord George by the Grace of
       God of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defender of the faith &c
       and in the year of our Lord God One thousand seven hundred and seventeen
       Between Charles MacDaniel and Anne his wife of Cæcill County in
       the province of Maryland on the Continent of America of the one p.t
       and W.m Douglass of Baltemore County in the Province afd Gentl
       of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Charles and Anne who
       as well for and in consideration of the sume of eighty pounds Curr.t
       money of this Province in hand paid at and before the Ensealing and
       Delivery hereof the receipt whereof the said Charles and Anne doe hereby
       acknowledge and do therefore and hereby Give Grant Bargaine
       Sell Alien Enfeoffe Release and Confirme to him the said W.m his heirs
       and Assignes for ever All that part of a Tract of Land Called Coxs's
       Forrest originally taken up by One Jn.o Cox for five hundred acres
       which s.d part is bounded according to the express courses in a certaine
       deed of said Coxs's to Abraham Strand (Viz.t)   Begining at a
       white Oake being the first Begining tree of the afd Tract Cont.a five
       hundred acres and runing from the afd Oake with a Line drawn south &
       by West two hundred and forty p.s to a water Oake standing by a marsh
       Near the main Road and runing from thence by ^with^ a line drawn East
       Northerly so farr as by a North and by East Line till it Include the
       Plantation and All the Building and purtenances thereunto belonging
       and so to the first tree more or Less for three hundred acres togeather
       with all Edifices Buildings Yards Gardens Pastures Timber and Timber
       trees woods underwoods and appurtenances whatsoever to the said
       Parcell of Land belonging or appertaining with the Revercons and
       Remainders rents Issues and Profitts whatsoever and all Deeds
       writeings Excripts and Minuments touching and concerning the s.d
       Parcell of Land and premisses or any part thereof  To have &
       to hold the said Parcell of Land and premisses to the only proper use
       and behoof of the said W.m his heirs and assignes for ever And to and
       for no other use intent and purpose whatsoever And the said Charles
       and Anne for themselves their heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs doe hereby Covenant
       Grant and Agree to and with the said W.m his heirs and Assignes
       that the afd parcell of Land and premisses hereby Granted to the s.d
