425 Thomas Cook before me one of his Lordships Justices of the prov.ll Court of this province of Maryland and acknowledged the within Deed pursuant to an act of assembly in that Case Made and provided Recorded June y.e 19.th 1717 Ja Harris Maryland fs This Indenture Made this 25.th Day of May in the second year of the Dominion of the Righte hon.ble Charles Absolute Lord and proprietarie of the province of Maryland &c.a Annoq Dom one thousand seven hundred and seventeen Between Ebsworth Bayne of Charles County Gent of the one parte and Edward Rumney of Ann Arundell County Gent of the other parte Wittnesseth that the said Ebsworth Bayne for and in consideration of the sume of six shillings Currant Money of Maryland at or before the sealeing and Delivery of these presents to him in hand paid or secured to be paid the Receipt whereof the said Ebsworth Bayne Doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every parte and parcell thereof Doth hereby for himselfe and his heires exonerate acquit and Discharge the said Edward Rumney and therewith holds himselfe fully satisfied Hath Bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed as by these presents he Doth for him and his heires Bargaine sell aliene enfeoffe and confirme unto the said Edward Rumney his heires and assignes for ever all that Tract or parcell of Land called the Meadows scituate Lyeing and being at the head of Wiccomoco River in Charles County containing four hundred Acres of Land be the same More or less and which (is) |
