424) expressing by the conveyance of the parte to containe two hundred and thirty acres or there abouts as in and by the same refference being thereunto had may more fully and at Large appear Together with all and singular its appurtenances To Have and to hold the same unto him the said Charles his heirs and assignes for ever And the said Thomas Doth hereof covenant with the said Charles that his parte of the said Tract is clear and free of all incumbrances whatsoever and that he will Warrant and Defend the same against all persons to him the said Charles his heires and assignes for ever Provided Nevertheless and it is the true Intent and Meaning of these presents that if the said Thomas his heires ex.rs or ad.rs shall upon or before the twenty fourth day of Jan.ry in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and seventeen pay unto the said Charles the said sume of one hundred eighty seven pounds fifteen shillings and six pence Currant Mony of Maryland with Legall Interest that then this Deed is to be void and of noe effect otherwise to Remaine absolute and in full force In wittness whereof the said parties have hereunto interchangeably sett their hands and affixed their seales the Day and year first above Written Tho Cook (seale) signed sealed and Delivered In the presence of us Geo Valentine Cha Adams On the back of the foregoeing Deed was thus Written viz.t To M.r Daniell Carroll These are to empower and authorize you to acknowledge the within Deed for me and in my name and for your soe Doeing this shall be your Warr.t Given under my hand and seale this 24.th of Jan.ry 1716 Tho Cook (sea) Being present Sam.ll Dorsey Cha Adams June 3.d 1717 Then Came the within named (Tho.s) |
