368 On the back of the aforegoing deed was thus Endorst Viz.t Aprill 24 1716 Then Came M.r James Harris before me Tho.s Smyth one of his Maj.tys Justices of our prov.ll Court and acknowledge the w.thin deed according to Law Tho Smyth 120 tob.o paid J B recorded Ap.l 25.th 1716 By this Publick Instrument of procuration or Lett.r of Att.ry Be it known and manifested unto all people that on the twenty second day of Decemb.r Anno Dom 1709 Annoq R Rue Anne nunc Magne Britan [illegible] Octavo before me Samuel Draper Notary and Tabllion Publick by royall Authority admitted and sworne Dwelling in London and in the presence of the wittnesses hereafter named personally appeared Mary Chambers of y.e parish of S.t Giles in the Fields in the County of Middx which appearer hath made ordained Constituted Authorized and appointed and by these presents doth make Constitute & Appoint her Loveing Cousin George Impey of Maryland in America Cooper her true and Lawfull Att.ry for and in y.e name and to y.e use of her Constituant to Ask Demand Sue for Recover and take into Possession All & singular such sume and sumes of money debts goods wares Merchandizes Lands houses tenem.ts plantations & estates real and personall whatsoever as are or shall be found due owing or belonging unto her out of the Estate of Thomas Grunwin her late Brother deceased by or from any person or persons whatsoever for what cause or reason the same may be nothing excepted or reserved with all Costs Damages & Interest Also the said Houses Lands Tenem.ts and Plantations to sell Lett or Dispose as y.e said att.ry shall judge convenient for the most profit and advantage And for that end to make pass and execute all necessary deeds and writeing which she the said Constituant doth hereby declare shall be of as much force and vallue as if she herselfe had made obtained or passed the same Upon Recoveries and receipts to make and give due and suff.t acquittance and Discharge And if need be touching the p.rmises for y.e said Constituant to appeare and her person to represent in all courts and before all Lords Judges & Justices and to Administer Compound Conclude and agree with ample power to substitute and Generally in and concerning the premises and (Dependencies) |
