367 east one hundred and fifty four Perches respecting on the south a parcell of Land belonging to M.r Edward Jones thence North East and by North two hundred seventy four perches towards the said branch then runing North West down the said branch one hundred and twenty p.s then lastly being by a direct Line to the first begining Cont.a and Laid out for two hundred and fifty acres more or less to be held of the Mannor of Baltemore Now know yee further that wee James Harris of Kent County Gent and Eliz.a his wife the only daughter heir of the afd M.r Edw.d Jones of Cecill County afd deced for and in consid of ten pounds sterl and thirty three pounds now Currance in hand p.d by W.m Husband of Cecill County planter before the ensealing and delivery of this present deed Wee the said James Harris Gentl & Eliz.a his wife doe acknowledge our Selves fully satisfyed and do exonerate acquit & Discharge the afd W.m Husband & his heirs &c for the full and just paym.t of the above Land called Prosperity Wee the s.d James Harris Gentl & Eliz.a his wife do hereby give grant bargain & sell and by these presents have given granted bargained enfeoffed alienated and confirmd unto him the said W.m Husband and his sons W.m Husband and Tho.s Husband all that parcell of Land before menconed called Prosperity cont.a Two hundred and fifty acres more oe Less by the recited cert to him the said Edw.d Jones Gen.t Granted as afd togeather w.th all and every the rights previledges comodities and all and every the appurtenances to the same belonging touching or any ways appertaining Togeather with all Grants Escripts Minuments to the same belonging touching or concerning the same Royall mines excepted To have and to hold the sayd pcell of Land and all other the said bargained p.rmises to them the said W.m Husband and his sons W.m Husband and Thomas Husband his two youngest sons and their heirs ^and^ to the only proper use and behoof of them the s.d W.m Husband & W.m Husband and Tho.s Husband his two sons & their heirs for ever to be held of the Lord proprietarie that now is under certain rents and services according to Lordshipps Conditions of Plantations the rents heretofore excepted and hereafter to become due & payable And further we the said James Harris and Eliz.a his wife y.e afd pcell of Land and all other y.e bargained premisses unto them y.e s.d W.m Husband and his sons W.m Husband & Tho.s Husband and their heirs shall & will warr.t ag.t all psons w.tsoever warr.t & defend for ever hereafter In Testimony hereof we y.e afd James Harris Gent and Eliz.a his wife have hereunto set our hands and seals this 24.th day of Aprill in y.e first year of the Dom.n of Charles Lord Balt.r that now is under age Annoq Dom one thousand seven hundred and Sixteen Signed sealed and delivered in y.e psence James Harris (Seale) of us M Vanderheyden James Frisby On |
