366 This is to certifie that it appears by the Parish Register of Stebbing in the County of Essex one John Sorrell son of John Sorrell & Dorothy his wife was Baptized y.e 19.th of Sept.r 1643 T Wendey Vic.r of Stebbing Nov.r 19.th 1713 Thomas the son of John Sorrell expressed in the cert from Stebbing and Sarah his wife was Baptized the 30.th day of Sept.r 1679 This I find registred in the Church Book of Great Baddow in Essex Wittness my hand this 25.th of Sept.r 1713 Hen Pughe Vicar of Great Baddow Sarah the daughter of Jn.o Sorrell (expressed in the cert from Stebbing) and Sarah his wife was Baptized y.e 16.th day of May 1683 This I find registred in y.e Church book of Great Baddow in Essex Wittness my hand this 25.th day of Sept.r 1713 Hen Pugh & Vicar of Great Baddow Recorded 19.th Ap.l 1716 To all Christian People to whome these presents shall come Wee James Harris and Eliz.a his wife of the County of Kent in the province of Maryland send Greeting Know Yee that whereas Charles Late Lord Baltemore absolute Lord and proprietor of the province afd of Noble Memory did under the Lessor Seale of his province bearing date some time in the year one thousand six hundred eighty five Grant unto Edward Jones by the name of Edward Jones Gent of Cecill County a warr.t for the takeing up and surveying of two hundred and fifty acres of Land in Cecill County according to his Lordshipps Condition of Plantat.ns by vertue of the said Warr.t upon the sixth day of July Anno one thousand six hundred eighty five was surveyed and plotted by Tho.s Lytfoot Dep.ty Survey.r for Cecill County as by the Cert of Survey returnd into his Lordships Land office where it doth or may more at large appear (Viz.t) Laid out for Edward Jones of Cecill County Gentl a parcell of Land called Prosperity lying in the county afd and upon the east side of a river called Elk river and upon the head of S.t Albans Creek at the head of a parcell of Land called Larramore neck enlarged Begining at the branch side near the horse bridge and running thence south west and by south bounding on the said Land two hundred and fifty per thence south (east) |
