       the first day of Aprill in the Year of our Lord God one thousand
       seven hundred seven hundred & tenn made or mentioned to
       be made Between y.e afd Henry Strickland of y.e one parte
       and y.e above first named Richard Johns of y.e other parte
       he the said Henry Strickland for the consideration therein
       mentioned Did grant Bargaine & Sell unto y.e said R.d
       Johns his heirs ex.rs adm.rs and assignes all that aforementioned
       parcell of land called Stricklands Chance
       together with all Rights Proffitts & Benefitts to the said
       parcell of land and premises belonging or in any wise
       appertaining accepted reputed or taken as parte or parcell
       thereof with y.e Revertion & revertions remaind.r and remainders
       Rents Issues and proffitts whatsoever of all and
       singular y.e afd Bargained land and premises with
       their and every of their appurtenances and every part
       and parcell thereof To have and to hold the
       Land and p.rmises before mentioned to be bargained & sold unto
       the said Richard Johns his heirs ex.rs adm.rs & assignes for
       ever as in and by y.e said Recited Indenture relacon being
       thereunto had may more fully and at large it doth and may
       appear  And whereas by Indenture bearing date the third
       day a Feb.ry in the year of our Lord God one thousand
       seven hundred and nine made or mentioned to be made between
       John Roes of Calvert County afd plant.r and Frances his
       wife daughter and heir of Francis Dorrington late of
       the said county Deceased of the one parte & y.e afd R.d
       Johns of the other parte they the said John Roes and
       Frances his wife for the Consideration therein mentioned
       did grant bargaine and sell unto y.e said Rich.d
       Johns his heirs & assignes all that parcell of land
       conta fifty acres being parte of two hundred a of land formerly
       bought and purchased by y.e afd Franis Dorrington of
       one Henry Robinson son and heir of Henry Robinson late
       of the Clifts in Calv.t County afd deceased out of a Tract
       or parcell of land called Robinsons rest scituate lying and being
       in Calvert County afd on y.e west side of Chesepeake Bay &
