x.d  This Indenture made y.e Ninth day of Feb.ry
       Anno Dom One thousand seven hund.d & fourteen Between
       John Medcalfe of Ann Ard.l County planter of y.e one parte
       & Henry Hall of the same County Clerk of y.e other parte
       Wittnesseth that whereas Charles Lord Proprietor of y.e Province
       of Maryland did by his Lett.rs Pattents under his Great.r Seale
       at Armes Bearing Date y.e Twenty Sixth day of March one thous.d
       six hund.d Ninety four for y.e Consideration therein menconed Grant
       unto y.e said John Medcalfe by the name of John Medcalfe of
       Ann Ard.l County in the said Province ^of^ Maryland all that Tract or
       parcell of Land Called Batchellors Hall Lying in Ann Ard.l County
       at Elk Ridge & is now in Baltemore County  Beginning
       at a bounded Gumb Tree Being a bounded Tree of Elianor Herbert
       & Running w.th y.e said Herberts Line North Eight Degrees East one
       hund.d & two p.rches to a bounded hiccory then north ten Degrees west
       twenty p.rches to a bounded white oake then North seventy five degrees
       west one hund.d & fourteen p.s to a bounded white oake then north
       tenn Degrees west Twenty p.s to a bounded red oake then north eigty
       nine Degrees east sixteen p.s to a bounded white oake then North
       eighty Degrees east Thirty perches to a bounded water oake then
       North sixty six Degrees east Twenty Eight p.s to a bounded red
       oake then south fifty four degrees east eighteen p.s to a bound
       white oake then south twenty one Degrees east thirty two p.s
       to a bounded white oake then south east forty p.s to a bounded
