291 Appurtenances and Eighteen head of Cattle should revert and Remaine to the said Nath.ll &^ Hannah and that deed and all Clauses and Covenants therein should be void and of none effectt and it was further Agreed if they should repay twenty pounds the Quarter on new Designe or Reserve with the Two hund.d acres of Land was to be thereby Cleard and if they should repay fifteen pounds the six hund.d acres was to be hereby Cleard and if they should repay sixty one pounds the Dwelling plantacons Called the Tanyard and the eighteen head of cattle was to be thereby Cleard Now This Indenture wittnesseth that the above Named Benj.a Hatley & George Nelthorpe for and in Consideration of y.e sume of Twenty pounds sterl to them in hand well & Truly paid by bills of Exch.a drawn by Edward Teale as also the sume of Twenty pounds more secured be paid them the said Hatley & Comp.a the first day of May one Thousand seven hundred & fourteen as also Twenty pounds more the first of May Seventeen hund.d & Fifteen as also Twenty Nine pounds seventeen shill more the first of May seventeen hundred and sixteen as by the severall obligations under y.e hand & seale of the said Edw.d Teale dated the Twenty fifth day of September seventeen hundred and Twelve now in the custody of the said John Brice doth more fully appeare all which said sumes doe amount unto eighty nine pounds seventeen shill as also in consideration the said John Brice when all the above mentioned Lands & premises are Invested in fee simple by these presents in him & his heirs shall & will make over and invest Legally the said Edw.d Teale his heirs & Assignes in the afd Dwelling planta ^called the Tanyard as also y.t Quarter or new designe adjoyning or being near the said Tanyard all the late dwelling plant.a^ of the said Stinchcombe with their appurtenances or to any other purchaser or Purchasers their heirs or Assignes in case the said Edw.d Teale should not comply with his Divers and severall obligations afd and also in consideration the said Brice shall secure & pay unto us two Thirds of the remaining parte of the said Debt of Ninety six pounds all Charges both in Law and Equity first Deducted and pay and Discharge the Quitt rents due on the other Tract of Land Called Stinchcombs Park Morgaged as afd for the sume of Fifteen pounds and now by the said Edw.d Teale refused as also for Divers other Good Consideracons them thereunto Moveing Hath Given Granted bargained sold aliened and Enfeoffed Remizd Released and Confirmed and by these (p.rsents) |
