       Thirds in the Disposeall of which y.e said John Brice for y.e hopes of Great.r
       Intrest & Proffitt to y.e said Benj.a Hatly & Comp.a did Create a Debt
       with a Certaine Nathaniell Stinchcombe of Baltimore County
       in the afd Province for the sume of ninety six pounds sterl money
       which said Debt being feard by the said Brice To be Desparate he
       did procure the said Stinchcombe to make one Deed of Mortgage
       unto y.e said Hatley Nelthorpe & Brice of Certaine Lands Goods
       and Chattles for the Bett.r Security of y.e said Debt and Whereas
       y.e afd Nath.ll Stinchcombe and Hanah his wife by their Deed afd
       bearing date in Maryland y.e Twenty second day June one thousd
       seven hundred and Nine executed According to Law did Bargaine
       Sell & Make over unto y.e s.d Benj.a Hatly & Comp.a their Heirs and
       Assignes forever all them three Tracts or Parcells of Land the
       one Called by the Name of Stinchcombs Lott or Park Cont.a
       about six hund.d acres of Land Lyeing on Diamond Ridge on
       y.e North side y.e falls of Patapscoe River for the sume of
       fifteen pounds sterl parte of the sume of ninety six pounds
       afd Also a parcell of Land Called the Reserve Quarter or new
       Designe Cont.a Two hund.d Acres & Lyes Adjoyning to the Late
       Dweling plantacon of the said Stinchicombe for the sume
       of Twenty pounds other parte of y.e sume of ninety six pounds
       sterl afd also the Tract or parcell of Land and plantacon the
       Said Nath.ll Stinchcombe Lived on Called the Tan Yard Cont.a
       about three hund.d acres Lyeing on y.e North side y.e falls of
       Patopseco afd as also togeather with eighteen head of cattle
       for sixty one pounds The full of Ninety six pounds afd with all
       y.e Estate Right Interest Use Possession Claime and Demand
       whatsoever of in & to the afd Premises with their appurtenances
       and eighteen head of cattle to them the said Hatley & Cop.a
       their Heirs & Assignes forever To have and to hold the afd
       p.rmises with their Appurtenances and eighteen head of cattle
       to them the said Hatley & Cop.a their heirs & Assignes forever to
       their own proper use & behoofe and to none other use intent
       or purpose whatsoever by which deed it is Provided always
       that if the said Nath.ll Stinchicombe & Hannah his wife or
       their heirs should well & Truly Repay the said Hatley and
       Comp.a the sume of Ninety sixty pounds sterl in four
       years from the date of the said Deed and Lawfull Intrest
       each halfe year at y.e Dweling house of the said John
       Brice in Severn then y.e abous.d Land & Premises with their
