149 x.d This Indentu^r^e Made the Eleaventh day of July in the Twelfth year of y.e reign of our soveraign Lady Queen Anne by the grace of God of Great Brittain France and Ireland Quee^n^ defender of the faith &c Annq Domini 1713 Between William Nichols of Calvert County in the Province of Maryland Mr.t of the one part and Samuel Groome of London Merchant of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Nichols for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and one pounds eight shills sterling money to him in hand paid by the said Samuel Groome at or before then sealing and delivering of these presents the recipt whereof he the said William Nichols doth hereby acknowle^d^ge and thereof and there from doth acquit exonerate and discharge the said Samuel Groome his heirs executors & Admin^i^strators & assignes and every of them by these presents and for divers other good Causes and considerations him the said William Nichols thereunto moving Hath granted bargained sold sett and to farme Letten and by these presents Doth grant bargain sell sett and to farme Lett unto the ^said^ Samuel Groome All that peece or parcel of Land containing one hundred twenty and five Acres of Land be the same more or less being the moyety or half part of a Tract of land laid out for two hundred and fifty Accres of land called Prices Venture scittuate lying & lying and being in Cecell county in the province of Maryland aforesaid as by a certain deed of grant of Bargain and sale made betweene one William Price of Cecel County aforesaid of the one pte and Nicholas Sporne of Colvert County aforesaid of the other pte bearing date the Tenth day of October One thousand six hund.d Ninety one Relation being thereunto had may more fully appeare and also all that other tract or parcel of land Called New Castle back landing lying on the east side of the North East Fork of Elk River in Cecell County aforesaid begining at a Marked Oak standing at the lower bounds of a pcel of land Taken up by William Dare of ^Cecel^ County aforesaid and Caled by the name of Dares Desire a Respecting a Plantation heretofore in the occupation of one peach on the on the west side of the said Forke and Runing from the said Tree bounding with the River south west |
