       And premises with the appurts unto the said Benj.a Ball
       his heires ^and assignes^ from the day next before the date of these presents
       unto the full end and terme of one year thence next ensuing
       to the intent that by virtue thereof and of the statute
       for transferring uses into possession the said Benj.a ^Ball^ may
       be in actuall possession of the said Lands tenem.ts and
       hereditam.ts Premises and be enabled to take & accept
       of a grant and release of the same premises to him his
       heires and assignes forever In Wittnesse whereof the
       parties to these presents have interchangably set their hands &
       seales the day and year first above written

x.d   This Indenture made the nineteenth day of Dec.r
             in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred
       and twelve and in the eleventh year of the reigne of our
       sovn Lady Ann by the Grace of God of great Brittain France
       and Ireland Queen defender of the faith &c Between
       Humphry Pellew of Flushing near Falmouth in the County
       of Cornwall in the kingdom of Great Brittain Merch.t & Judith
       his wife of the one part & Benj.a Ball of Queen Anns County
       in the Province of Maryland Gent of the other parte Wittnesseth
       Whereas the said Humphry Pellew by Indenture bearing date
       the eighteenth day of this Instant month for the Consider.a
       therein expressed did bargain and sell unto the said Benj.a
       Ball his heires & assis all those lands tenem.ts and hereditam.ts
       which were formerly the prop estate of William als Antho Workman
