       Then came the within Named Robert Brown before me Thomas Smithson Ergone of
       her Maj.tys Justices of the Prov.ll Court and acknowledged the within Deed according to
       act of Assembly in that Case made and provided and Consented to have the same inroll'd
       on the record of the prov.ll Court of this provence

x.d     This Indenture made the eighteenth day of Decem.r
          in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred &
       twelve and in the eleventh year of the Reign of our sovn Lady Ann
       by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France and Ireland Queen
       Defender of the faith &c Between Humphry Pellew of Flusking
       near Falmouth in the County of Cornwall in the kingdom of
       Great Brittain Merch.t & Judith his wife of the one part and
       Benj.a Ball of Queen Anns County in the Province of Maryland
       Gent of the other parte Wittnesseth that the said Humphry
       Pellew for & in Consider.a of the sume of five shill sterl mony of
       Great Brittain to him in hand paid by the said Benj.a Ball before
       the ensealing and executeing of these presents the rec.t whereof the
       said Humphry Pellew doth hereby acknowledge hath Bargained
       & sold and doth by these presents bargain & sell unto the said Benj.a
       Ball his heires and assignes all those lands tenem.ts & hereditam.ts
       which formerly were the proper estate of W.m als Anthony Workman
       late of Kent Island in Queen Anns County in the province of
       Maryland decd scituated & being on the Island afd or in the porte of
       Annapolis or else where in the province afd and also all the estate
       right title and interest which he the said Humphry Pellew had
       of and in the premises by a grant and conveyance of the same
       to him heretofore made by and from Anthony Workman of the
       City of Gloster in the kingdom of Great Brittain who is heir at
       Law to the said William als Anthony Workman and also the
       Revercon and revertions remainder and Remainders of them &
       every of them to have and to hold the said lands tenem.ts
