93 Containeing two thousand one hundred acres and Granted by pattent of Confirmacon unto one Cullbert Scott Deceased and Elizabeth his wife and their heires for Ever and after whose decease the same devolved unto the said Eliz.a who ^afterwards^ Intermarried with the said John Party to these presents To have and To hold the same Tract of Land and the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Charles Carroll his heires and assignes for ever to and for the only proper use and behoofe of him the said Charles and his heires and to no other Use Intent meaning or Purpose whatsoever And the s.d John doth by these presents Covenant promise Grant and agree to and with him the s.d Charles that the Land and appurtences above bargained and sold are at the time of the Ensealing and delivery of these presents Clear and free of and from all manner Grants bargaines sales or other Incumbrances whatsoever whether by Statutes Judgments Recognizances forfeitures or attainders of him the s.d John or those under whome he derives or by any other ways or meanes whatsoever save only the Quitt Rents hereafter to ^be^come due to the Right Hon.ble the (Lord) |
