47 and assignes that they the said Samuell Dryer & Susannah his wife for themselves & Either of them and their heirs ^shall the land & pmises so as af.d bargined or sold unto y.e s.d Amos Garrett his heires & assignes^ shall for Ever hereafter warr.t & defend of and from all manner of defects and Incumbrances whether it be by the said Lands runing into former or more ancient surveys or any other pson or psons Claiming or to Claim any Right Title or Interest thereunto or unto any part or pcell thereof Wittness whereof the said partys have hereunto Interchangably sett to their hands and seales the day & year first above written Signed Sealed & Delivered in the Sam.ll Dryer (Sea) presence of us Susannah Dryer (Sea) Ed Westmacott Arnold Elzey Geo Valentine Jn.o Hag.r On the Back of the foregoing Deed was thus written (Viz.t Annapolis Maryland 8 Sept 1708 Then Came the within named Sam.ll Dryer and Susannah his wife before me Philemon Lloyd Esq.r one of her maj.tys Justices of the Prov.ll Court of the province and the said Susannah being Examined out of the hearing of her husband declared that she Consented of her own free will to the making over of the within mentioned Tract of Land &c.a And the said Sam.ll Dryer acknowledged the within Deed to the within named Amos Garrett according to the act of Assembly in that Case made and provided as also acknowledged by the said Susannah Dryer the within land &c.a to be the |
