       Carroll y.t at the sealing hereof he y.e s.d Dan.ll is
       seized of a free absolute and undefeazable Estate of
       inheritance in fee symple in the premises without
       any incumbrance whether by mortgage statute
       Judgm.t recognizance Dower anuty rent charge or
       any other manner of Incumbrance w.tsoever &
       y.t he y.e s.d Dan.ll shall & will for him and his heirs
       war.t and forever Defend y.e same unto him the s.d
       Charles his heirs & assis forever ag.t all mann.r
       before y.e Date hereof  Provided allways y.t it is the true
       intent and meaning of this presents y.t if y.e s.d Dan.ll
       of S.t Thomas his Ex.rs or ad.rs at or before the Last
       day of Aprill next pay or Cause to be p.d unto the s.d
       Charles his Ex.rs or ad.rs the af.d sume of two hundred
       and sixty seven pounds with Lawfull interest for
       the same by good And sufficient bills of Exchange
       to be Drawn upon some responsible merch.t in
       London and w.ch shall be duely accepted & p.d according
       to the tenor thereof that then this Deed & all
       articles clauses and Covenants therein Contained
       is to be null void and of noe Effect otherwise to
       remaine in full force and virtue to vest the
       fee symple and Inheritance of the s.d tract of Land
       and property of the negroes Cattle & sheep af.d in
       him the s.d Charles his heirs and assis forever
       In Wittness whereof the s.d partyes have hereunto
       interchangeably sett their hands and affixed their
       seales the day & yeare first above written
